General Interest
We occasionally need community volunteers to help throughout the year for a variety of events. Let us know your interest and any professional skills you would like to share.
Donated Dental Services (DDS)
We need general dentists, specialists and labs willing to donate their skills and time to provide free, comprehensive dental treatment to New Mexico’s most vulnerable including the elderly, medically compromised and veterans.
Dentist Volunteers
Las Cruces Area
We are looking for dentist volunteers in the Las Cruces area to provide care to low-income New Mexicans who cannot access and/or afford care. Several rewarding opportunities are available.
Oral Health Bag Distribution
To increase oral literacy in New Mexico we will be partnering with schools and counties to provide low-income families with oral health education materials and hygiene supplies. Volunteer information coming soon.

NM Smiles - In Office Dental Day
We are looking for dentist offices that would like to participate in the NM Smiles – In Office Dental Day program and serve low-income New Mexicans in your area providing basic dental care in 1 to 2 appointments.
Whole Health Referral
Partnering with organizations to provide resources and education for other health issues.
Emerging Leaders
Providing mentoring, leadership, training, volunteer, and clinical observation opportunities to help grow professional support networks for future dental professionals.
Give Kids A Smile
We are looking for dentist offices that would like to participate in the Give Kids A Smile program and serve underprivileged kids in your area.
Oral Health Education
Providing an opportunity for New Mexicans to grow in their understanding of oral health.

The 3rd annual NM Mission of Mercy Denture Clinic, a free two-day clinic, in collaboration with the Global Denture Alliance and the New Mexico Dental Association.

We are looking for volunteers to provide dental screenings for children 1-15 years old at the 4th Annual Society of American Indian Dentists (SAID)/Gathering of Nations.
