D O N A T E

Join us for our annual NM Mission of Mercy Denture Clinic, a free two-day clinic, in collaboration with the Global Denture Alliance and the New Mexico Dental Association.  Dentures are provided at no cost to low income New Mexicans who cannot access and/or afford care.  This event is completely volunteer driven and is possible because of the generous support of our sponsors and volunteers.

The New Mexico Dental Association Foundation is committed to the safety of our patients and volunteers. We are closely monitoring all federal, state and local COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations from the American Dental Association.

Patient Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect at Denture Clinic?

Dentures are available for low-income New Mexicans who are denture ready by appointment only.  No walk-ins. To determine if you are denture ready you need to be seen by a dentist or provide pictures of your gums so a volunteer dentist can verify you are ready for dentures.

How long should I expect to wait in line?

Please plan to be at the clinic for 3 to 4 hours.  We will be taking impression, making a mold and fitting your dentures.  You will leave with a completed set of dentures.

How long should I expect to be in the clinic?

Patients seeking treatment at NM MOM should be prepared to spend several hours at the event. If you are not available when your number is called for treatment, we will move on to the next patient.

Who is paying for all of this free dental care?

NM MOM is entirely volunteer run and sponsor/donation based. We have received very generous contributions from our NM MOM partners that allow us to bring in the equipment and supplies necessary for the clinic. Everyone working at the clinic is volunteering their time and talents. The services are absolutely free to patients.
