What Dentists & Hygienists Should Bring

Dentists and dental hygienists should bring anything that will make you happy and productive! Basic equipment and supplies will be provided by NM MOM. Please bring your own assistant chair, if possible, as no assistant chairs are provided. Also bring any specialty supplies including PPE that you may need to participate and see 8 to 10 patients per shift or 16 to 20 per day. You are welcome to bring your own clearly marked instruments. NM MOM will ensure that dentists’ instruments are kept separate from the general equipment provided by the national ADCF group. Pick up of your equipment will be in a separate section of sterilization. Please clearly mark all personal items.

The NM MOM clinic will have portable reclining dental units that include a patient chair, free standing light, and operative unit connected to water and vacuum lines. NM MOM will also provide basic instruments and dental supplies.

All schedules will be sent out via email after registration has closed. If you have questions regarding your schedule please contact your NM MOM Chair/Lead or Trish Rule at nmmom2@nmdaf.org.
