Meet Your Co-Chairs

 
 

Dr. Chris Morgan

 
Dr. Chris Morgan grew up in Lakewood, Ohio and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Allegheny College. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from The University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in 2001. Committed to excellence in his field, he was awarded the prestigious American Dental Association's Golden Apple Award for Leadership, an award given to only three dentists each year nationwide.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Dental Association (NMDA), the Santa Fe District Dental Society, the NMDA House of Delegates, and served as President for the New Mexico Dental Association 2016-2017. In 2016, Dr. Morgan co-chaired the Santa Fe Mission of Mercy, providing 1,200 patients with free services totaling $1.2 million.
 
Dr. Morgan said “I love living in Santa Fe and show my gratitude by giving back. I am proud to be the co-chair of the NM Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic in Santa Fe in 2024 where we hope to treat over 1,500 people in two days.” Dr. Morgan and his family volunteer at St. Therese Catholic Church and are large supporters of St Michael's High School scholarship fund. Dr. Morgan is also a member of the Santa Fe Rotary Club, volunteering at the annual Pancakes on the Plaza, an event that helped raise over $150,000.00 in funds for children in Santa Fe.
 
When not treating patients, Dr. Morgan spends time with his family.  His daughter, Isabelle is a cheerleader at St. Mike's high school and his son, Jackson, is a freshman at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, in Florida.  Along with his wife Kristy and his children, they love much of what Santa Fe offers, but they especially enjoy skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer. They also do a fair amount of camping, swimming and just spending time with family and friends.
 

Dr. Kelley Ryals

 
Dr. Kelley Ryals grew up in Santa Fe, NM. She attended Santa Fe High School, graduated Cum Laude from The University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science, and graduated Cum Laude from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2011. She returned home to Santa Fe, NM in 2011 and opened Santa Fe Modern Dentistry and several other dental offices with Pacific Dental Services. Also in 2011, she joined the New Mexico National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonial where she is currently serving as the State Dental Officer.
Dr. Ryals is currently the immediate past president of the New Mexico Dental Association and is the newest chairperson for Council on Dental Education and Licensure for the ADA. She is also on the ADA Task force for DSO’s. She was the president of the Santa Fe District Dental Society in 2018. She is currently on the Board of Alpha Dental of New Mexico and Quality assurance for Delta Dental. Dr. Ryals was also on the COVID-19 Dental Advisory Team Board of Trustees and on the member service committee in the New Mexico Dental Association.
In 2016, Dr. Ryals was the Clinic Director for Mission of Mercy in Santa Fe. Dr. Ryals said, “My personal motto is Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life.” She is very excited to be a Co-chair for the NM Mission of Mercy in Santa Fe in 2024.

 

Dr. Ryals is married to Marshall and has two young daughters, Rylynn, and Raegan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, fantasy football and physical fitness. She loves cheesy reality TV shows and is a huge Nebraska football fan.
